OKay

I have to write that our dawgs are the brightest things in our lives. They're funny, dorky, smart and protective.

I just opened up a package of beef jerky and they know the sound of the plastic. I can never eat beef jerky without having to share. They love it. So here I am, perusing ebay and decided to eat some of the sweet and hot jerky from the package sitting on the comp desk. I thought I was being sneaky. I opened it silently............ slowly............ and stealthed. I ate a piece then looked behind me and see two faces with really big ears and noses looking my way.

Busted!

LOL!

It's not that I don't want to share, I always do, even if they hadn't caught on I would have tossed them both several pieces. I just wanted to see if I could get away with it. Obviously not. LOL

Today I watched the movie The Christmas Shepherd. I cried almost all the way through it. It's about a male German Shepherd that gets scared by a thunderstorm and escapes from the yard and gets lost. He finally gets rescued by a father and daughter that lost their wife/mom a couple years ago. The woman owner finally tracks down her shepherd and it ends with her and the man together. So corny, but such a nice story how this shepherd brought them together intentionally and unintentionally in various ways.

One of the issues in the movie was that the new owners-the man and daughter- had legal ownership of the dog, even though it lived the first 5 years of it's life with the woman, and they only had the dog two weeks.  Really? Just because her dog got lost, they owned it when it was found? I just don't get that. No one would keep me from taking my dawg back. I have them chipped and there's lots and lots of pictures. Plus once they encountered this menopausal woman they'd be begging me to take my dawg back. Uh huh. Don't test me.

Getting Sisi spayed and declawed on Thursday. She's in heat. Bah! Driving us nuts too. I was hoping she was spayed and had felt her belly for scar tissue and didn't find any so I assumed she wasn't. I was right. She is sharpening her claws on everything! The leather couch and leather computer chair! OMG! Bipping her lightly doesn't seem to deter her either. So out they come. I am staying home with her on Friday so I can watch her. Poor babycake.

She's so sweet. I'm really starting to like her a lot. She likes being held and comes up and lays on us all the time. Then she touches her mouth to our lips like in a kiss. Sooooo sweet!! She also likes sleeping on Jeff's head. LOL!
She didn't know how to play when we first brought her in. So sad! Probably being outdoors she never learned how to play.  We have three cats toys that are sticks with a string and a toy on the end. She wouldn't even chase the feather toy. Finally now she knows how to chase and tackle the toys.

OMG I bought pickled herring today! Yum yum yum!

We had Christmas today with Jeff's family. We play the stealing game where we all get a number, choose and open a gift or steal one from someone else.  It's a lot of fun. Jeff stole a wooden end table made by his step nephew. Ironically since we bought the surround system and TV for the basement we've been needing a small table. It's perfect. I got something for my secret santa person at work. Woop! Regift!! LOL We also won $13.00 off of scratch lottery tickets, and a box full of bubbles. Makes ya wonder, doesn't it?

Here's a Christmas wreath I made for my MIL.

Turned out smashing!!
